  Shipping

  • How do you ship your planters?

Unless you specify otherwise we will ship by FedEx Freight.  If this is inconvenient for you we will be happy to work with you on other shipping arrangements.

  • How much should I expect to pay for shipping?

The average cost for shipping a planter is around $100.00 but it can vary a great deal based upon the destination.

  • How long should it take for my planter to arrive?

Your planter should arrive in approximately one week--if they are in stock.  It could take longer if they are out of stock or it needs to be shipped over a long distance.

  Money Matters

  • Will I have to pay sales tax?

No.  Implements sold for agricultural use are not subject to Indiana state sales tax.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept money orders and certified checks paid either before shipping or when you pick up the planter at our location.

We also will accept your personal check but we'll have to hold the planter for ten days so your bank can process the check.

  • What is your return policy?

We will accept returns only if the planter or one of the accessories is defective.

  • Do you offer a warranty with your planters?

Currently neither the factory nor Guenthenspberger Farms offers a warranty.

  Technical Issues

  • How do your planters attach to my tractor?

    There are three possibilities.

    • A three-point hitch--Cat 1 and Cat 0 are available
    • A 1-prong hitch for Cub and Super A/140 tractors--with or without a fasthitch
    • A toolbar is available to attach multiple planters (the toolbar attaches by means of a three-point hitch)
  • Can I attach more than one planter to my tractor at the same time?

A toolbar is available to attach as many as four planters at the same time.

  • Can I use your planter to plant crops other than pumpkins?

Each planter is equipped with four seed plates as standard equipment.  These include:

    • Medium flat corn plate

    • Pea / bean plate

Many other plates are available including (but not at all limited to):
