The Planet Jr. Model B91-92B Vegetable Drill with floating cradle bracket

The Planet Jr. can be configured as a one-row, tractor mounted row drill.  The Cradle bracket--standard on all Planet Jr. seeders--provides the float you need for accurate planting behind your tractor.  Hitches available to mount to three-point hitches Cat 0 and Cat 1.

It also can be configured as a multi-row seeder.  Powell provides hitches with and without vertical adjustment to mount the Planet Jr. to rear-angle frame cultivators and to most 2 1/2" and 4" x 4" bars.

The cradle bracket allow the drill to float a full 4" up and down.  A unique spring suspension permits each drill to follow the contours of the ground independently.  This provides uniform depth of seed automatically.

The seed hopper accurately meters hard-to-handle seeds in continuous drill, including tomatoes, onions, sugar beets, cabbage, lettuce and spinach.  Special seed plates are available also for multi-row applications.

Power from the front wheel turns the feed wheel in the hopper assuring constant flow of seeds.  Seeds pass through numbered holes of various sizes in the seed plate.  Three seed plates with 13 holes each--standard with every drill--provide a total of 39 seed flow adjustments ranging from 3/32" to 3/4" to meet your needs.
